We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2025, at the age of 88, Freida L Chesser (New Washington, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Stricker and Geneva Stricker; her daughter Deanna Hollowell (Donald); her siblings, Roy Stricker (Rosalie), Harry Stricker (Hazel), Jesse Stricker, Clarence Stricker (Mary Jo), Wayne Stricker, Joyce Baird (Dee), Janet Lynch (Sam) and Irma Reasoner (Phil); and her great great grandchild Rosie Mae Blackwell.
She is survived by: her sister Grace Huckleberry (Don); and her granddaughters, Andrea Smothers, Beth Lentz (Jordan) and Holly Hays (Glen). She is also survived by Grandkids and 9 Great-Great Grandkids.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Grayson Funeral Home - New Washington (206 E Main St, New Washington, IN 47162). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
