He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Franklin and Billie Franklin; his brother Tuff Franklin; and his brothers-in-law, Quentin Allen and Dennis Stricker.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Allen; his children, Tisha Briles (Brent Briles) and Luke Franklin (Carrie Franklin); his grandchildren, AJ Franklin, Kate Franklin and Cohen Briles; and his siblings, Pat Stricker (Dennis), Bonnie Perkins (Mickey), Peg Hostettler (Greg), Kathy Jones, Dave Franklin (Phila) and Ed Franklin (Lisa).
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grayson Funeral Home - New Washington (206 E Main St, New Washington, IN 47162). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hibernia Cemetery (5818 Blue Ridge Rd, Charlestown, IN 47111).
