He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmer Harger and Jane Harger; and his siblings, Delmer Harger (Sue), Stephen Harger, Kay Harger, Marcia Jay and Beth Ann Arbuckle.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Harger; his children, Christle Beam (Paul) of Whiteland, Rachel McMichael (Paul) of Whiteland and Philip Harger II (Misty) of Whiteland; his grandchildren, Jordan Beam (Savilla), Karley Gaughan (Matt), John McMichael, Elizabeth McMichael, Emily McMichael, Charles "Charlie" McMichael, Chance Harger and Grace Harger; his great grandchildren, Brooks Beam, Charlie May Beam, Tatum Gaughan and Kallie Gaughan; and his sister Rita Richart (Louie) of North Vernon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
