He is survived by: his children, Christine Michelle Nolan (H. K.), Sonya Annette Hendrix (Justin) and Shane Earl Lee Freels (Sylvia); and his grandchildren, Bridger Hendrix, Braeden Hendrix, Savannah Freels, Elijah Freels and Ayden Freels. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
