With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara J. Macke in Newburgh, Indiana, who passed away on December 12, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband James Paul Macke; her parents, Alice G. Marten and Ralph Emmel; and her sister Leonida Speh. She is survived by : her children, Beth Macke (Mark Sellars), James A. Macke (Jim) and Marianne Macke-Swier; her grandchildren, William Dale Macke White and Madeleine Swier; her sister Carolyn Schlicher; her stepfather Allen A. Marten; and also, Vicki Rea, Tobias and Maria Barabas.
