With sadness, we share the passing of Bruce K Angel of Newburgh, Indiana. Bruce, born on July 11, 1951 in Evansville, Indiana, passed away on October 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Angel and Sybil Angel; his parents-in-law, Carl Duckworth (Bea) and Jeanne Higginbotham (Ed); his brothers-in-law, Ben Duckworth (Cheryl) and John Silver; and his pets, Nala and Shadrach.
He is survived by: his wife Carla; his daughters, Monica Lassy (Jeremy) and Marcia Fortune (Tim); his grandchildren, Tristan (Blake), Grace, Carden, Krissy, Katy and Jenna; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Bobbie and Niko; and his siblings-in-law, Marc Duckworth (Veda), Tracy Silver and Angie South (Jeff). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel (1800 St George Rd, Evansville, IN 47711). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bruce's name to Impact Ministries or the Warrick County Humane Society, two causes that reflect the way he lived: believing people deserved dignity and love, and giving whenever he had something to give.
