It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Sue Sumner of Newburgh, Indiana, who passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Charles Wingert and Louise Wingert (Meyer); her husband David Sumner; her children, Kari Kinder of Powell, Ohio and Bryan Sumner of Newburgh; her sisters, Linda Zirkelbach and Cindy Nieten (Darren); her grandchildren, Wesley, Luke and Madison Kinder; and her brothers, Charles Wingert and David Wingert (Jackie).
