He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Porter and Irma Porter (Kapperman); and his sister Beverly Southerland. He is survived by: his wife Myrna Porter (Carter); his son Brent M. Porter (Angela); his sister Sharon Bastnagel (Bob); and his grandchildren, Alec Paul Porter and Elaina Marie Henson (Braden). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
