He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Berneking (Brewer) of Newburgh, IN; his children, Chris Berneking (Nicole) of Indianapolis, IN, Elizabeth Fallen (Timothy) of Newburgh, IN, Brent Berneking (Nick) of Indianapolis, IN and Meghan Isaacs (David) of Nashville, TN; his siblings, Carolyn Kelleher and William Berneking; and his grandchildren, Christian Louis Berneking VI, Andrew Pracht, Chloe Alder (Jake Peters), Lauren Bugg (Tristan), Alexander Alder, Teresa Berneking, Peyton Fallen (Addie), Bailey Fallen, Peter Isaacs, Claire Isaacs, Maria Isaacs and Lily Isaacs.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the All Saints Parish St. Anthony Church (704 N First Ave, Evansville, IN 47710). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
