We are sad to announce that on November 20, 2023, at the age of 50, Deacon Sergiu Vlas of Newburgh, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by : his parents, Paul Vlas and Marilena Vlas (Popescu); his wife Oana Popescu-Sandu; his daughters, Alexandra Vlas and Clara Vlas; his brother Radu Vlas (Cristina); and his niece Margaret Vlas.
