With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Delmas Wayne Allen in Newburgh, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2026 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmas B. and Mary L. Allen (Vangampler); his son Caleb Gene Allen; and his uncle Arthur Vangampler. He is survived by: his wife Connie Sue Allen; his children, Anjelica Maitlen (Steve) of Huntingburg, IN, Liliana "Ace" Allen of Evansville, IN and Delmas Luke Allen (Kyneesha Dillworth) of New Harmony, IN; his grandchildren, Tatyn Wayne Allen, Loralei Allen and Ophelia Allen; his siblings, Karen Lotz (Dean) of St. Peter, IL, John R. Allen of Pineville, LA and Mary Ann Parker (Jody) of Cape Girardeau, MO; his parents-in-law, Judy and Ron Coston of Carmi; his sisters-in-law, Julie Delgado (Tino) of Carmi and Ronda Ratliff (John) of Brownsburg, IN; and his aunts and uncles, Glen Vangampler of Carmi and June Vangampler of Eldorado, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Wayne's memory to Eldorado High School FFA and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home, 609 W. Main St., Carmi, IL 62821.
