He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Stone and Mildred Stone (Thomas); his grandson Jacob Allen Stone; and his siblings, Glenda Sue Oliver and Carl Melton Stone.

He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Stone (Morgan) of Newburgh; his children, David Stone (Betty) of Blackwell, OK, Sharon Stone of Ada, OK, Ernest Stone of Grant, AL, Kimberly Myers (Todd) of Siloam Springs, AK, Rodney Stone (Ron) of Aurora, CO and Alisa Stofleth (Mike) of Newburgh; his siblings, David Stone and Darla Barrett (Stanley); and his sister-in-law Virginia Stone. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
