He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Thompson and Bessie Thompson (Duncan); his wife Mary Thompson (Taylor); his sons, Keith Thomspon and Jimmy Thompson; his grandson Kody Simon; and his great grandchild Izzy Keltner.
He is survived by: his sons, Ronnie Thompson and Kevin Thompson (Charlotte); his sister Barbara Keller; and his grandchildren, Jessica (Preston), Brittany (Erik), Larry and Lydia (Jeff). He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
