He is survived by: his children, Debra Smith (Roger) of Folsomville, Sherry Snodgrass (Terry) of Yankeetown and Matthew Byers of Hatfield; his grandchildren, Shannlyn Bruce, Jimmy Snodgrass, Dustin Smith, Crystal Byers, Michael Richardson, Danny Smith, Shawn Richardson, Desirae Hunter, Jeremy Alvey, Samantha Byers, Charlie Ellis, Haley Byers, Matthew Byers II, Roger Smith and Spencer Byers; and his close friend Helen Gentry.
