He was predeceased by: his parents, Bossie Hood and Vivian Hood (Kinder). He is survived by: his wife Mary Emma (Lant); his children, Karen Myers (Toby), Amy Turnpaugh (Scott) and Jim Hood (Kristin); his grandchildren, Eric Myers (Reese), Mackenzie, Cameron Ilari, Gracie, Kassidy, Taylor, Caity Turnpaugh, Josh (Mallory), Hannah, Carter and Cooper Hood; and his great grandchildren, Madison, Sophie, Jaxson Myers, Charlotte, William and Robert Hood.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Alexander Funeral Home-Newburgh Chapel (5333 IN-261, Newburgh, IN 47630). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
