He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Charles, Geraldine Gass and Larry Hulskotter; and his aunt Lisa Gass. He is survived by: his parents, Christine Ortmann (Thull) and Marty Gass (Carol); his siblings, Rachael Ortmann, Crystal Day (Matt), Christopher Gass and Joseph Ortmann; his stepbrothers, Jon Ortmann, Mike Ortmann and Alex Burton; his grandparents, Judy Hulskotter and Harold Thull; his aunts and uncles, Shawnna (Phil Gerding), Lynda (Jeff Merrill), Jon Stephen Gass, Charlotte (Mike Romano), Pauline (Mark Dowell) and Jennifer Eckert; and his cousins, Brian Gerding (Megan), Morgan Merrill and Kaden Merrill. He is also survived by several other cousins and extended family.
