He is survived by : his wife Carol Smith (Loehr); his children, Jeremiah Smith (Brittany) of Bradenton, FL, Rachel Smith of Newburgh and Sierra McCormick (Hunter) of Evansville; his grandchildren, Greyson, Adeline Smith, Hudson and Weston McCormick; and his siblings, Deborah Hastings of Evansville, Clarissa Roberts of Chandler, James Edward Smith, Jr. of Chandler and Christina Elliott of Fort Mitchell, AL. He is also survived by nine nieces and five nephews.
