In loving memory of Melinda L. Pipes of Newburgh, Indiana, who departed this world on May 30, 2025 at the age of 67. Melinda leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Long and Louise Long (Porter); her grandparents, Connie, Wilma Porter, Benjamin and Anna Mae Long; and her sister Carolyn Louise.
She is survived by: her husband Freddie Pipes; her children, Melea Segovia (Todd Lohse), Elise Pipes and Tyler Pipes (Jessica); her son-in-law Mario Segovia; her grandchildren, Addison, Miguel and Alayna; her sisters, Debbie Forrest (Jeff) and Dana Evans (Bruce); and her sister-in-law Sharon James. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Boone Funeral Home (5330 Washington Ave, Evansville, IN 47715). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the family to help offset final expenses.
