She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Allen and Lessie Allen; her grandson Carlton Mans; and her siblings, Roscoe Allen and Maxine Patton.
She is survived by: her husband Carl E. Carpenter; her children, Rhonda Moore, Kim Mans (Charles), Tom Carpenter (Paula) and Jon Carpenter (Jill); and her grandchildren, Jake Carpenter (Jaclyn Pierce), Katie Carpenter (Trevor Venters), Kyle Carpenter, Doug Aller (Janelle), Alex Tullar and Rachel Brewers (Nick). She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
