It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nicholas John Galloway of Newburgh, Indiana, born in Madisonville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 31, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William Guy and Annie Galloway (Webb); and his siblings, Christine Hixon (Harold), William Guy (Elaine), Mimi Dickerson (Jim) and Woodie Pruitt (Bobby).

He is survived by : his wife Connie Moriarty; his children, Dana Burris (Mark), Alicia Gilkey (Chris), Wendy Brunson (Kirk) and Nick Galloway II; his grandchildren, Brad Burris (Ashlee), Adam Burris (Kelly), Brittany Lear (Luke), Taylor Gilkey, Emily DiValerio (Rob), Madison Galloway, Nathan Gilkey (Brenna), Valerie Peterson (Eddie), Zach Galloway (Claire), Lauren Herr (Max), J. T. and Lindsey Gilkey; his great grandchildren, Mayce Ritchie, Austin Burris, Bailey Burris, Holland Burris, Evan Lear, Chloee Burris, Hadley Lear, Ty Burris, Nolan Lear, Sadie Lear, Charlotte DiValerio, Olivia DiValerio, Elsy Gilkey, Norah Galloway, Beau Gilkey and Gretchen Herr; and his great great grandchild Cohen Harkey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Boonville or Shriner's Hospital for Children.
