Though Patrick may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Sr. Shelton and Martha Shelton; his daughter Heather Gillum; and his siblings, Leonard Spence, Wanda Hardebeck, Eddie Shelton and Charles Shelton.

He is survived by: his wife Betty; his daughter Monica Tennant (Steven "Beau"); his son-in-law Kejuan Gillam; his grandchildren, Kaelyn and Jack Tennant; and his brother Geno Shelton (Jeri). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Sunset Cemetery (1800 St George Rd, Evansville, IN 47711).
