He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sturgeon and Sarah Sturgeon (Eckert); his former wife Nancy Ann Sturgeon (Kline); his wife Darlene Sturgeon (Fuchs); his children, Kimberly Sturgeon, Mark Sturgeon and Mickey Sturgeon; and his brothers, Henry, Gerald, Jim and Lawrence Sturgeon.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Castillo (Jason), Peggy Merriman (Matthew) and Jeff Sturgeon (Debbie); and his siblings, Othella House and Harold Sturgeon. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and countless nieces and nephews.
