It is with sadness that the passing of Shirley Marvel of Newburgh, Indiana is shared. Shirley, born on June 20, 1936, passed away on June 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Shirley will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Newman, Sr. and Gertrude Newman; and her brothers, George Newman, Jr., Robert Newman and Ronald Newman.
She is survived by: her husband Ernest "Leon" Marvel; and her daughters, Kelly Carrico (John) and Tammy Will (Scott). She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
