He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edward and Ursyl Price Kopta (Hughes); and his sister Anna Lee Kopta. He is survived by: his wife Marian Virginia Kopta (Broll); his children, Jennifer M. Lowes and Bryan D. Lowes (Heather); and his grandchildren, Mirabelle and Declan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (8020 Covert Ave, Evansville, IN 47715). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
