He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward and Mary Margaret Murphy (Staser). He is survived by: his siblings, Michael "Mick" Murphy (Lana) of Boonville, IN, Sandra Bailey (Thomas) of Newburgh, IN, Rita Torrence of Newburgh, IN and Linda Memmer (Steve) of Evansville, IN; and his siblings' children, Grady Murphy, Tia Murphy, Ben Bailey, Drew Bailey, Ashley Voegel, Clint Memmer, Michael Torrence and Troy Torrence.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (1301 S Green River Rd, Evansville, IN 47715).
