He is survived by: his wife Susanne Thompson Stein; his son Michael Thomas Stein (Cristi); his grandchildren, Rachael Stein and Lucas Stein; his daughter Julie Susanne Stein; his nephew Ted Land (Melanie); his great-niece Olivia; his niece Elizabeth Wade; and his pet Belle.
