He was predeceased by: his parents, Rumzie Irvin and Mary Agnes Spear (Clark); his wife Linda Marie Lucas; his siblings, Herman, Victor, Rumzie Spear and Mary Lucas; and his half-siblings, Walter Spear and Nell Spear Nelson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Connie Scott (David) and Missy Mitchell (Scott); his brother James Spear of Markle, IN; his grandchildren, Jesse Scott (Hannah), Brittany Branam (Josh), Dillon Scott (Kristen), Clayton Scott (Bethany), Andrew Mitchell (Shelby) and Katelyn Helms (Hesston); and his great grandchildren, Olive, David Caleb, Isabella, Teagan, Sadie, Emery, Haisley, Harper, Shay, Colton, Maddie and Brylee.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Prairie Chapel Church or the Mellott Volunteer Fire Department.
