She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Kathryn Watts and Jerome Charles Watts; her siblings, Mavis Talu Doyle, Amaryllis Daugherty and Mark Chan; and her pet Benji.
She is survived by: her husband Ernest Mathis; her children, Pam Bannister, Tammy Tungett and Anthony Tungett; her stepchildren, Wesley Mathis (JoAnn), Lee Mathis, Ernest Mathis Jr. (Tracy), Shannon Allen (Mike) and Wayne Speers; and her sister ElyJahta Dawn Jahn (Gary) of Indianapolis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Myers-Reed Chapel (3729 E 25th St, Columbus, IN 47203). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
