He was predeceased by: his parents, William McClelland and Alice McClelland Sr. (Cooper); and his siblings, Mildred Boicourt, Nellie Berry, Bernice Ostrander, Ermal McClelland and Edgar Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Betty McClelland (Harrington); his children, Sarah Clark (Chip), Sherry Shuler (Scott) and William Lafe McClelland III; and his grandchildren, Whitney Burkett (Jacob), Samuel Shuler and Gabrielle Shuler. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
