He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Atwell and Arebella Atwell (Cubert); and his siblings, Monty, Robert, Kenny, Kay and Lois.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Atwell; his children, Mike Atwell of Lancaster, TX, Susan Cress of Becknell, IN, Regina Wiley (John) of Quincy, IN, David Hoots of Noblesville, Dawn Herron (Tony) of Noblesville and Dianna Montoney (Marc) of Cincinnati, OH; and his brothers, Ronald, Billy and Larry. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, those attending will be encouraged to wear face masks, social distancing will be practiced, and those at high risk are encouraged to not attend.
