He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Cox and Ethel Cox (Sproles); his wife Lois Cox; his son Billy Ray Cox; and his siblings, Louise, Annalee, Eulavee, Doug Cox, Silas Cox, Elmer Cox, Dan Cox, John Cox and Paul Cox.
He is survived by : his children, Crystal Brown, Sheila Peterson, Lisa Foust, Angie Martin, Ronnie Cox and Danny Cox; his sister Mary Ellen Leverage; and his grandchildren, Nick Frye, Rick Frye and Bria Dodson. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
