He was predeceased by: his parents, George Black and Vera Black (Arter); his parents-in-law, Cleo and Jessie Young; his son Terry Lynn Black; his grandson Augustus "Gus" Schinderle; his birth mother Jane LeCount; and his siblings, Don LeCount, Robert LeCount, Barbara Gladiuez, Jean Kern and Sharon Zippay.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Black of Noblesville; his children, Brent Black, Cheryl (Jack Schinderle), Vonda (Vincent Recinto), Rhonda (Donny Golden), Todd (Erin Black) and Debbie Applegate (Chris Denny); his grandchildren, Caitlin Golubski (Frank), Madison Black, Brandon Black, Riley Schinderle, Rudy Schinderle (Yessica), Danika Golden, Dacoda Golden, Joseph Golden, Cleo Recinto, Samara Black and Adelyn Black; his great grandchildren, Lilah, Barrett, Eleanor, Anderson and Luna; and his sister Susan Priest.
