He was predeceased by : his wife Rosalie Mills; his parent Bonnie Thornburg; his stepfather Carroll Thornburg; his siblings, Daryl Thornburg and Arlene Kay Mills; and his daughter Karen Sue Mills.

He is survived by : his daughter Sandy Mills English; his grandsons, Kyle and Nicholas English; and his great grandchild Grayson Daniel English. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
