He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Metsker and Maxine Metsker (Yancey). He is survived by : his wife Barbara Newby Metsker; his stepsons, Scott Haskett (Karen) and Craig Haskett; his granddaughters, Olivia and Meredith Haskett; and his stepgrandchildren, Aidan and Emma Flynn.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Randall & Roberts Funeral Center (1685 Westfield Rd, Noblesville, IN 46062). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
