He was predeceased by: his mother Opal Gilbert; his siblings, Donald Gilbert, Bill Gilbert, Denny Gilbert and Barbara Baskin; his great grandchild Judy Kay Dorsey; and his brother-in-law Ronnie Meade.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Gilbert (Hill); his children, Daniel Stone (Leann), Jamie Pisano, Kristin McGaughey (Aaron), Amanda Mark (Greg) and Nicole Stone; his siblings, KC Gilbert (Deborah) and James Gilbert; and his sisters-in-law, Sandy Gilbert, Debby Harris (Todd), Shelia Meade and Tammy Wood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church (11818 IN-32, Noblesville, IN 46060).
