He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy S. Harper and Helen Louise Harper (Moffitt); his wife Marilyn Harper; and his siblings, James Robert Harper (Jannette) and Mary Ann Caldwell (Ralph).
He is survived by: his children, Alan Harper (Becky) of Flippin, AR, Neal Harper (Nancy) of Carrollton, TX, Susan Mayhall (Ed) of The Woodlands, TX and Ann Gerlach (Eric) of West Lafayette, IN; his sister Florence Wright; and his grandchildren, Jaysi Madigan (Ryan), Abbey Lamb (Jason), George Mayhall (Sarah), Kimberly Mayhall (Jonathan Pottle), Sarah Meeks, Matt Harper (Katy), Beth Harper, Tyler Gerlach and Cody Gerlach (Chris Reagin). He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.
