She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Kanowsky and Venita Kanowsky (Rehermann); and her sisters, Carol Sue Gray and Betty Ruth Harpole. She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca Cartwright (Tom) of Evansville, IN; her grandchildren, Abby Cartwright (Hakim) and Jay Cartwright (Nancy); her great grandchildren, Skylar, Sawyer and Sean; and her nephews, Corey Harpole (Ingrid), Brad Gray (Elaine) and Brian Gray (Andrea).
In honor of Joanne, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Vanderburgh Humane Society.
