She was predeceased by : her parents, Guy Blalock and Louise Blalock (Prater); her brothers, Donald Lee Blalock and Sam Blalock; her grandson Adam Dixon; and her great grandchild Lane Buck.

She is survived by : her husband Oscar L. Dixon; her children, Tony Dixon, Lori Wilmot (Andy), Barry Dixon (Michelle) and Melissa Dixon (Joe Thompson); and her brother Danny Blalock (Geraldine). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
