He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Grimes and Miriam Grimes (Newby); and his stepsons, Jim Lee Pharis and Mark Allen Harris. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Harris; his children, William Max Harris, David Lee Harris (Donna) and Margaret Christine Harris; and his stepchildren, Robert Hyden (Joan), Charlie Pharis (Shannon), Dee Dee Coonce (David) and Michael Pharis (Sheri). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
