He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Ellsworth and Julia Ann Byerly (McConnell); his sister Mary Cashen; and his brother-in-law Paul Cashen. He is survived by: his wife Debbi Byerly; his children, Sara Hastings (Jeff), Jeremy Edwards (Margot), David Edwards (Kirsten) and Christopher Byerly (Sylvia); his grandchildren, Gabe, Delilah, George, Julia, Everett and Patrissa; and his siblings, Jerry Byerly (Anne), Dan Byerly (Rachelle), Tom Byerly (Carol), Jim Byerly (Kathy), Lynne Cheslyn (Dave), Roy Byerly (Jenny) and Jennifer Mosier (Chris). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of lifelong friends and brothers and sisters.
