He was predeceased by: his parents, James Walton and Opal Mae Walton (Stroup); and his siblings, James Junior Walton (Edith), George William Walton, Ruth Hancock (Glen), Betty Doty (Marvin) and Gloria Devol (Ronnie).
He is survived by: his wife Viola Walton (Cooper); his children, Paul Wayne Walton (Jennifer) of Scircleville, Lisia Lynn Johnson (Lonnie) of Terhune and Teresa Ann Walton of Noblesville; his grandchildren, Brandy Gregory, Jerry Johnson, Ashley Walton, Cody Walton, Amber Brown, Aubrey Blount, Devin Walton and Brooke Walton; his sisters, Vicky Moore (Charles V.) of Sheridan and Mary June Snodgrass (Fred) of Pickard; and his sister-in-law Coleen "Cookie" Walton of Sheridan. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
