She is survived by: her daughter Janet Asel (Denham); her granddaughter Kelsey (Steve June) Asel (Denham); her pet Mike; her son Leonard (Susan) Asel (South Bend); her grandsons, Thaddeus Asel (Katherine) of Dayton, OH and Matthew Asel of St. Peters, MS; and her daughter Cheryl Rausch of St. James, MS. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the O'Donnell Funeral Home, Inc. (302 Lane St, North Judson, IN 46366). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Starke County Humane Society, the organization that gave Barbara her companion, Mike.
