He is survived by: his children, Lisa Guse (Don) of Wanatah, Troy Leffew of Knox and Brian Leffew (Sheila) of LaCrosse; his grandchildren, Jordan Guse (Isebel), Bryce Guse (Mary), Kaylee Busart (Matthew), Destiny Materna (Dylan), Taylor Leffew, Hannah Leffew and Emily Leffew; his great grandchildren, Bryant Guse, Alaina Busart, Mia Busart and Casen Materna; and his sisters, Bonnie Hajek (Jake Cooper) and Annette Brown (Allen).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the LaCrosse Fire Department, who assisted Howard multiple times during his time of illness.
