He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernice Hummel (Johnson) and Forest Hummel. He is survived by : his wife Debbie Hummel; his son Matthew Hummel; his granddaughter Cloey Hummel; his brothers, Gerald Hummel (Betty) and Alan Gale; his sister-in-law Pam Yeager (Ronnie); and his nephews, Austin Yeager and Gary Hummel.
