He was predeceased by: his father Wesley Hampton; his brother Wayne Hampton; and his pet Teddy. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Aleah Garza (Joshua) of LaPorte and Joshua Hampton of North Liberty; his mother Flonnietta Hampton of London, KY; his grandchildren, Rebecca Wilkie (Alex), Matthew Johnston, Leah Garza and Jackie Garza; and his sister Joanne Purkey of Hobart.
