He is survived by: his grandchildren, Katie Weaver (Jordan), Matt Rice (Ashley), Nathan Smith, Justin Rice (Lisa), Jordan Rice (Sarah), Jayde Rice (John Olesen), Ethan Rice, Lindsay Johnson (Scott), Audrey Rice, Evan Rice and Drew Rice; and his great grandchildren, Colton, Jaxon, Nolan, Ben, Ella, Rylee, Connor, Macy, Adelyn, Josie and Brodie.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McKee Mortuary (1401 W State Rd 114, North Manchester, IN 46962). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
