The passing of David Lynn Barnett (North Manchester, Indiana), born in Wabash, Indiana leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 12, 2025 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorwin J. Barnett and Mildred Leah Barnett (Baldinger); his brother Dalton J.; his sister-in-law Ruth Ann Barnett; his sisters, Joyce A. Overly and Rosemary Daigle; and his granddaughter Haeli Barnett.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Barnett; his children, Robin Messer (Joe) and Darin Barnett (Michele); his former spouse Craig Barnett (Kim); and his grandchildren, Jack Messer, Audrey Schnelker (Adam), Ross Messer, Calvin Barnett, Claire Barnett, Cora Barnett, Josh Barnett and Eric Zahler. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Congregational Christian Church (310 N Walnut St, North Manchester, IN 46962). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
