He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Georgeann Hartzog (Dennis Connolly), Gretchen Ehrlich and Susan Alan; his grandchildren, Sarah, Daniel (Louisa), Joseph, Paul, Thomas Ehrlich and Ben Alan; his niece Dawn Hartzog Longoria; his nephew Calvin Hartzog; his stepchildren, Janette Bledsoe, Tom Martin (Rita) and Jean Erickson (Jim); his stepgrandchildren, Elizabeth Shirkey (Patrick), Taylor Bledsoe, Caroline Bledsoe, Clayton Martin (Beth), Jessica Ludwig (Jonathan), Kelsey Smith (Scott), Luke Erickson (Kathleen), Seth Erickson (Meredith) and Jake Erickson (Carrie); his brother Carl Hartzog of Ft. Worth, TX; and his wife Sally Martin of Carbondale, IL.. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
