He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Metzger and Mae Ellen Metzger (Niccum); his siblings, Leon, Eldon, Mark, Delmar, Wilmer Metzger, Catherine Metzger, Esther Blocher (Billie) and Leona Acord; and his sister-in-law Virginia Ann Popejoy (Kenneth).
He is survived by: his wife Irene Metzger; his children, Dennis Metzger, Steve Metzger and Dinah Ketrow (Max); and his in-laws, Agatha Metzger, Janet Metzger, Leanna Stouder, Ruby Metzger (Leroy) and Ernie Acord.
