It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sarah Hartzog of North Manchester, Indiana, born in Carbondale, Illinois, who passed away on March 22, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Everett Sherertz and Helen Sherertz (Mugge); and her former life partner Dale T. Martin. She is survived by : her children, Janette Bledsoe of Jacksonville, Tom Martin (Rita) of Houston and Jean Erickson (Jim) of North Manchester; her stepdaughters, Georgeann Hartzog (Dennis Connolly) of Alto Pass, Gretchen Ehrlich of Winston Salem and Susan Alan of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Shirkey, Taylor Bledsoe (Tiffany Curry), Caroline Little (Rodney), Clayton Martin (Beth), Jessica Ludwig (Jonathan), Kelsey Smith (Scott), Luke Erickson (Kathleen), Seth Erickson (Meredith) and Jake Erickson (Carrie); her stepgrandchildren, Sarah, Daniel (Louisa), Joseph, Paul, Thomas Ehrlich and Ben Alan; her sister Rachel Kelble (Jack); and her nephews, Keith Kelble and Jeff Kelble. She is also survived by twenty-two great grandchildren.
